Riverside, Ca- On Monday January 16, 2006 at about 0130 hours Riverside Police Department officers responded to the 5300 block of La Sierra Ave reference a medical aid. Family members had called 911 to report their one month old child was unconscious and not breathing. Fire department personnel and AMR paramedics also responded and treated the child at the scene. The child was transported to Kaiser Permanente Hospital were she was pronounced deceased.

Detectives responded to the scene and are currently conducting an investigation into the death of the child. At this time there are no signs of foul play however the investigation is continuing.
