Unattended death investigation

Riverside, Ca- Riverside Police responded to a call for medical aid at a group home in the 4000-block of Fourth Street at 4:23 p.m., Thursday, August 3.

Responding officers and firefighters found a 29-year-old female inside her room at the residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation indicates the woman was last seen sometime Wednesday. The body was discovered by a relative of the owner during a dinner call for home residents. The deceased was one of approximately 18-20 residents at the home. Name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation continues.
