Shooting Injures One in La Sierra

Riverside, Ca- On Thursday April 27, 2006 at about 04:00 am, officers responded to the 11500 block of Flower St. reference gunshots heard. Upon arrival officers located a male Hispanic approximately 20 years old, with a single gunshot wound to the hip, to the front of residence. The subject was treated at the scene by Riverside Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel, and was then transported to Riverside Community Hospital. He was released from the hospital later that morning.

Witnesses described the suspects as four male Hispanics last seen driving a gray four-door Hyundai west from the scene. No further information is available at this time.
