Child Drowns in Swimming Pool

Riverside, Ca- On April 19, 2006 at approximately 8:41 PM, Riverside Police Dispatch received a report of an unconscious child found in a residential swimming pool. The family was administering CPR as police and emergency personnel arrived to the 1300 block of Nettleton Court. Emergency medical staff on scene continued the rescue effort and the child was later transported to Riverside Community Hospital. All efforts to resuscitate the 4-year-old female victim were unsuccessful.

Riverside Police Detectives responded to the scene and conducted the follow-up investigation, assisted by Riverside Police and the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
