Riverside, Ca- On 10/21/04, at 2:04 PM, a
caller reported that a man stopped on the La Sierra Ave bridge, south of Highway
91, climbed over the rail and dropped to the canal below.
Officers arrived on scene and found a white male lying in the canal. He appeared
to have suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead on scene by the Riverside
Fire Department.
The subject's identity and reason for his actions are under investigation. The
Riverside County Coroner's Office responded to conduct the investigation.
