Riverside, Ca- Chief Russ Leach is pleased to
announce the promotion of Detective Mark Rossi to the rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Mark Rossi began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles
Sheriff’s Department Custody Division. In 1994, Rossi became a Police Officer
with the Riverside Police Department. He has served as a Patrol Officer, School
Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, and member of the Special Weapons and
Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team. Rossi was promoted to the rank of Detective in 2002
and, most recently, was assigned to the Special Investigations Bureau, Gang
Intelligence Unit.
Sergeant Mark Rossi will assume his duties on July 30, 2004.
