Driver: Alan Weber (18) Riverside, Ca.
Injuries: Unknown internal and head injuries. The driver was treated by
the emergency room medical staff and admitted to the ICU unit @ Riverside County
Regional Medical Center (RCRMC).
Passenger: The passenger is a 15 year old female from Riverside, Ca.
Injuries: The passenger suffered blunt force trauma to the head and body.
The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Riverside CA - A 1992 Mitsubishi Diamante was being driven by Mr.
Weber. In the front passenger seat was a 15 year old girl. Mr. Weber was
traveling westbound on Arlington Avenue approaching Hawarden Drive from
Alessandro. Mr. Weber lost control of the vehicle, collided with the center
divider and impacted into a palm tree.
Both Mr. Weber and his passenger were treated at the scene by medical personnel
from the Riverside Fire Department. The passenger was deceased at the scene. Mr.
Weber was transported to RCRMC for treatment.
The Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is
conducting the follow up investigation.
