Riverside, Ca- On
June 28, 2002, at approximately 1:58 P.M., officers from the Riverside Police
Department responded to the Bank Of America at 4601 La Sierra Ave. reference a
bank robbery that had just occurred. A
lone suspect, wearing a mask and armed with a shotgun, entered the bank and
ordered everyone to the floor. The
suspect then took an undetermined amount of money from tellers. The suspect fled from the bank in a Honda, which had been
reported stolen approximately a week ago in Riverside. The Honda was found
abandoned a short distance from the bank.
The
F.B.I. and Riverside Police Department are conducting the investigation.
