Body Found in Orange Groves

Riverside, Ca-  On June 28, 2002, at approximately 1330 hours, Riverside Police Officers responded to the area of the 1300 block of Monroe Avenue regarding a body found in the orange groves.  Preliminary investigation revealed that an orange grove maintenance worker discovered the body of a female adult, approximately 18 to 30 years old.  The identity of the deceased has not been determined.  The investigation is considered a suspicious death investigation at this time.
