Riverside, Ca- Investigators
with the Riverside Police Department are requesting assistance from the public
to help identify two suspects who police believe are responsible for several
robberies of businesses in the City of Riverside. In the most recent robbery the male suspect sustained
moderate to severe burns to his face, arms and chest when doused with hot
cooking oil during a struggle with an employee.
It is believed the injuries were sufficient enough to require medical
treatment. Checks at local
hospitals have proven negative. The
male and female suspects are described as follows:
Male
Hispanic or Caucasian, early 20’s, 5’07”-5’09”, 120-130 lbs, short
dark hair.
Female
Hispanic or Caucasian, early 20’s, 5’07”-5’10”, 140-160 lbs., brown
eyes, brown hair (possibly dyed).
Suspects
are believed to be driving a dark colored (possibly Green) 90’s Plymouth Neon
or Pontiac Sunbird.
The
suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
