Fatal Traffic Collision

Riverside, Ca-  Officers responded to the area of Mitchell & Gramercy reference a traffic collision.  On arrival, they saw a pickup truck with major damage sitting in the middle of the street.  There was a deceased male subject lying in the street near the truck. It appeared the truck ran into a tree and ejected the male subject who was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Witnesses in the area advised they only heard the crash but did not see it. The Watch commander was notified and made call-outs to the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) who responded to the scene to handle the investigation.
