Riverside, Ca- On September 3, 2005, at 11:40pm, a 48-year-old male was driving his 2000 Honda Shadow motorcycle south on Sycamore Canyon Blvd. when he veered off the roadway at 6400 Sycamore Canyon Blvd. He lost control of his motorcycle on the dirt shoulder and sustained major injuries.

A citizen passerby called in the accident and the Riverside Fire Department arrived on the scene first. The Riverside Fire and Paramedics treated the man at the scene and transported him to the Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased from major trauma injuries to his head.

Members of the Riverside Police Department’s (M.A.I.T.) Major Accident Investigation Team responded and the collision is under investigation. Anyone with further information can contact Sergeant Duane Beckman at (951) 826-5237.
