Riverside, Ca- Riverside Police Officers responded to the 4300 Block of Rubidoux Ave. in regards to sounds of an explosion.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence that an explosion had occurred and responded the Riverside Police Department Technical Service Unit (TSU). They determined that a mixture of black powder and an unknown type of accelerant had been used to create an explosion. There were no injuries or property damage from the explosion and the investigation is continuing.
