Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department in conjunction with the University of California Riverside Police Department conducted a “John Program” in the area of University and Chicago in the City of Riverside. The program was directed at the men who go to the University Corridor to solicit prostitutes. The program lasted about seven hours and resulted in nine arrests for a variety of charges, mostly related to prostitution. Their vehicles were also towed and stored per VC 22651(h), Driver Arrested. This program is part of an ongoing investigation into prostitution in the area and will continue on a regular basis.

Arrested were:

Fabian Zivan Valenzuela, 37 years old of Alta Loma. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution and a felony warrant for PC 273.5, Spousal Abuse.

Stephen Anthony Mingear, 42 of Dana Point. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 653.22(a), Loitering for Prostitution.

Jemal Traylor, 29 of Riverside. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.

Rafael Ivan Gomez Rodriguez, 22 of Perris. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.

Hugo Alvarado Suarez, 28 of Riverside. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.

Michael Alan Aguinaldo, 38 of Winchester. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.

Telea Mika, 59 of Moreno Valley. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.

James Henry Matthews, 60 of Moreno Valley. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.


Jose Granados Meza, 42 of Riverside. He was cited and released at the Riverside Police Department for PC 647(b), Solicitation for Prostitution.
