Riverside, Ca- On November 10, 2005 the Riverside
Police Department will launch a Holiday Business Watch Campaign that will
continue through January 3, 2006. Police Chief Russ Leach recognizes that crime
can cost businesses billions of dollars each year, especially during the holiday
season. It can cost small businesses and customers both financially and
emotionally after a wave of crime. If you have business products, inventory,
equipment or money, you have what someone else wants and you need to protect
your assets. The holiday season is no time to be a victim!
In partnership with the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce, the
Riverside Police Department will offer and schedule seminars at no cost to area
businesses on a variety of crime prevention issues including but not limited to:
Identity Theft
Credit Card and Check Fraud
Employee Theft (shrinkage)
Lighting, Landscaping and Locks
