Suspect Vehicle: Early to mid 90’s white pick-up with
tinted windows and a “cab high” camper shell.
Riverside, Ca- On Sunday January 25, 2004 at
6:33 PM a hit and run traffic collision occurred involving a white pick up truck
and bicyclist on Mission Inn Avenue west of Arfon Way in the City of Riverside.
The investigation determined that the bicyclist was riding westbound near the
curb on Mission Inn Avenue when the white pick up, also traveling westbound,
struck the bicyclist from behind. The front of the pick up struck the bicyclist
and he fell to the ground. The pick up truck dragged the bicycle approximately
1000’ before it was dislodged on the Mission Inn Bridge leading into Rubidoux.
The pick up truck fled the scene.
The Riverside Police Department is seeking the public’s help. There is no
suspect description at this time. The pick up truck should have had right side
front-end damage and a broken windshield. Anyone with information related to
