Riverside, Ca- On Thursday May 12, 2005, at
11:07 a.m. Riverside Police Officers responded to the 4300 block of Bandini Ave
to investigate a sexual assault that just occurred. Officers contacted the adult
female victim who advised them that a lone male adult came to her door asking
for directions to the 91 freeway. The subject then forced his way into the
victim’s house and sexually assaulted her at knifepoint.
The victim provided a description of the suspect, which was radio broadcasted to
patrol officers. A short time later officers saw a subject matching the
suspect’s description, riding a bicycle a few blocks from the victim’s
residence. The subject later identified as Tony Lee Reynolds, 23, of Riverside,
was detained and subsequently arrested for sexual assault and burglary, and
booked into Robert Presley Detention Center.
During the investigation, officers learned that Reynolds matches the description
of a subject who was seen in the same neighborhood asking for directions to the
91 freeway earlier in the week. Reynolds is a white male adult, 23 years old. He
is 5’08” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has a shaved head with
brown stubble, hazel eyes, and wears glasses. When he was arrested he was
wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, brown boots, and was riding a white bicycle.
Anyone who may have had contact with Reynolds or has information related to this
investigation is urged to contact Detective Czobakowski 951-320-8006.
