Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department (RPD) participated in the 9th Annual Blue Elves Toy Delivery at pre-selected locations on November 14 - 17, 2005. This program was co-founded by Senior Police Service Representative (SPSR) Rose Marie Lane, Volunteer Coordinator with RPD, along with local business owner Richard Castillo. Together, along with the assistance of police personnel and community members, they have received hundreds of donated toys to be delivered to pre-selected, low-income children, currently enrolled in preschools throughout the city of Riverside.

The program will continue through December 5 - 7, 2005 at other pre-selected locations throughout the city. Members of the media are welcome to attend any of these pre-selected locations for interviews and photograph opportunities. Please call for more information regarding locations and times.
