Riverside, Ca- The resident
of the above home was backing his Toyota Forerunner from his garage when his14
month old daughter walked to the rear of the vehicle. The driver did not see the
child and the child was struck by the vehicle.
The child was treated at the scene by medical personnel from the Riverside Fire
Department and transported to Riverside Community Hospital (RCH). At the
hospital the child was treated by the emergency room medical staff. The child
was pronounced deceased at 9:40 AM.
The investigation is being conducted by the
Traffic Division of the Riverside Police Department.
