Riverside, Ca- On Friday,
November 7th at about 9:32 PM the Riverside Police Department responded to 911
call reporting an injured female the 3100 block of Canyon Crest. Upon arrival
RPD and UCR officers found a victim suffering from severe injuries that indicate
she might have been run over by a vehicle. The victim was treated at the scene
by Riverside Fire Department personnel and immediately transported via AMR
ambulance to Riverside Community Hospital. The victim is currently in grave
condition.
Officers at the scene later determined that the victim had just had her vehicle
stolen and was on foot in the area looking for it. The victim apparently saw her
vehicle being driven out of the apartment complex and attempted to stop it. The
victim was run over by the fleeing vehicle, sustaining the severe injuries. The
vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.

1993 Blue Nissan Sentra sedan with California Plate # 4UJV782
Anyone who has information about this vehicle
should contact the local law enforcement agency where the vehicle is found,
