Small Aircraft Crash at Riverside Airport

Riverside, Ca-  At about 10:12 AM today, Riverside police officers were dispatched to the Riverside Airport located at 6951 Flight Road regarding a small private plane that had crashed near the runway. Officers arrived and saw that a privately owned fixed winged aircraft had crashed and the single occupant, the pilot, was deceased.

The Federal Aviation Administration responded to investigate the incident. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending the Riverside Coroner notification.
