Riverside, Ca- On 03/17/03, at 2137 hours,
officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a major injury
traffic collision at Tyler Street and Gramercy Avenue. Cesar Lopez, a
21-year-old Fontana resident, was driving a 1996 Oldsmobile southbound on Tyler.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole, ejecting the driver. Lopez
suffered major head injuries and was transported to Riverside Community Hospital
where he is listed in critical condition.
The cause of the accident is pending an investigation by the Major Accident
Investigation Team.
