Major Injury/Fatal Traffic Collision
 

Riverside, Ca-  D-1 was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound Victoria Avenue past La Sierra. D-1 struck the curb-line of Victoria Avenue, left the roadway, and collided with a Magnolia Tree in the orange groves on the south side of the roadway.
D-1 was ejected from the vehicle. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.

The Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to the scene and is conducting the investigation.

Location:            Victoria Avenue, west of Stewart

Driver-1: Name not released pending notification of family.

City of Residence: Riverside

Injuries: A 25 year old male in Vehicle 1 suffered fatal injuries from the collision. He was pronounced deceased by the Fire Department at the scene.
