Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department, after consulting with the Riverside County District Attorney’s, has obtained a warrant for the arrest of Charles William Mix. Riverside Police Detectives have evidence to support the charges as follows:
P.C. 278 - Child Abduction
P.C. 208 - Kidnapping
P.C. 209(b)(1) - Kidnapping to Commit a Sexual Assault
Charles William Mix has waived extradition
and is preparing to return to Riverside, California. He is expected to arrive at
Ontario International Airport at approximately 7:20 pm on Tuesday, June 3, 2003.
Once Charles Mix arrives at Ontario airport, Detectives from the Riverside
Police Department will escort him to our General Investigations Bureau for
further investigation.
No times have been confirmed on the return of the victim and her mother.
