Riverside, Ca- On Sunday February 16, 2003 at
approximately 2340 hours officers from the Riverside Police Department responded
to the 3500 block of Hiawatha Street in response to a shooting that had just
occurred. A 20 year-old Riverside man sustained a single gunshot wound to his
head. He was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in grave
condition.
Investigators from the Riverside Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to
the scene. After conducting several interviews 18 year-old Louis Riley of
Riverside was arrested for Attempted Murder. He was booked into the Robert
Presley Detention Center.
