Major Injury Hit and Run Traffic Collision

Riverside, Ca - Officers were called to a hit and run major injury accident at Magnolia and Elizabeth at 7:10 PM. Paramedics and police officers arrived to find a female, approximately 30 years old, lying in the intersection severely injured. The woman had been struck while walking east across Magnolia at the south crosswalk of Elizabeth. A witness said that the suspect vehicle, a silver Nissan Sentra, was north bound in the #1 lane when it struck the female. The vehicle then fled north on Magnolia. The female victim was taken to Riverside Community Hospital with major injuries and listed in critical condition.
The victim’s identification is unknown at this time.
