Riverside, Ca- On
October 27, 2003, the Riverside Police Department responded to the 4400 block of
Angelo Street in the City of Riverside to take a report of a missing adult.
The missing adult is Prince Edward. Mr. Edward is described as an
African-American male, 87 years old, and has Alzheimer’s disease. He is 5 feet,
11 inches tall, weighs approximately 190 pounds, has gray hair, and brown eyes.
The description of Mr. Edwards clothing is unknown.
A check of the immediate area was conducted by the investigating officer, along
with other locations Mr. Edward is known to frequent. Mr. Edward was then
entered into the Missing Unidentified Persons System (MUPS), which is a law
enforcement database that can be accessed nationwide. In the days and weeks to
follow, several other agencies were contacted such as local hospitals, homeless
shelters, the Coroners office and the Department of Justice.
Family members to Mr. Edward made flyers and passed them out in the areas where
Mr. Edward is known to frequent. Family members contacted the Riverside Police
Department last week and asked for our assistance in bringing this incident to
the public with the media’s help.
Anyone with information regarding the location of Mr. Prince Edward is asked to
contact the Riverside Police Department at (909) 787-7911.
