Riverside Police to Conduct a DUI Checkpoint
 

Riverside, Ca- The Riverside Police Department will be conducting a DUI Check Point on December 13, 2003 in the University Avenue corridor area of the City of Riverside. The checkpoint is a joint effort by the Riverside Police Department and the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). This event is funded through a DUI Grant sponsored by the California Office of Traffic Safety.

The goal of this event is the reduction of DUI related collisions through education, information and enforcement. During this holiday season the Riverside Police Department and the California Office of Traffic Safety encourage people to drive responsibly, use a designated driver and most importantly do not drink and drive.
