Compliance check leads to arrest

Riverside, Ca-  On Thursday, September 12, 2002 at approximately 12:28 pm, officers from the Riverside Police Department, State Parole and Riverside County Probation, conducted a compliance check at a residence in the 7600 block of Fern St. in Riverside. 

While conducting the search, officers located the following weapons:

1.                  (1) One Winchester 3006 Rifle

2.                  (1) One Remington 12 Gauge Sawed off Shotgun

3.                  (1) One AK-47 Assault Rifle

4.                  (2) .38 Caliber Handguns

Three persons were arrested in regards to the weapons:

1.                  Trujillo, Cresencio,       39 years,       Male Hispanic,      Riverside
3056 P.C.  -                         Parole Violation
12021(a)(1) P.C. -              Felon in Possession of a Firearm

 2.                  Amaro, Michael,      23 years,      Male Hispanic,      Riverside
                  12020 P.C.  -                      Possession of a Dangerous / Modified Weapon

 3.                  Lemos, Ruben,       31 years,      Male Hispanic,      Riverside
                   3056 P.C.  -                         Parole Violation
                   12021(a)(1) P.C.  -              Felon in possession of a Firearm

All three suspects were booked into the Riverside County Jail for the listed charges.  The firearms were confiscated from the residence and later booked into Property as evidence.
