Riverside, Ca- On Saturday, October 05, 2002, at approximately 5:45 P.M., officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to the 5900 block of Sinclair in reference to a report of a shooting with two possible victims. Upon arrival they found two persons suffering from gunshot wounds outside a vehicle parked in the middle of the street. Medical aid personnel responded to the scene and transported the victims to local hospitals for treatment.
Officers received information the victims had been involved in a verbal argument with a Hispanic male who opened fire while the victims sat in their vehicle. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, heavy set, last seen driving a dark colored Chevrolet Beretta.
One victim, Michael Fierro, Hispanic male, 21-years-old, of Riverside, was treated at Riverside Community Hospital for a single gunshot wound to the upper body, and released. The second victim, Natasha Aragon, Hispanic female, 24-years-old, of Riverside, was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery. She had received one gunshot wound to the upper body.
