Riverside, Ca- At approximately 1:55 AM a single vehicle collision occurred on Arlington Ave west of Fairhaven St. The vehicle, a 1985 Toyota 4X4 Truck, contained two (2) occupants including the driver. The vehicle was westbound Arlington Ave. from Fairhaven St. at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway.
Prior to leaving the roadway the vehicle overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics from the Riverside Fire Department responded to the scene. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger was treated at the scene and transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he was treated by the emergency room medical staff.
At this time the name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of relatives by the Riverside County Sheriff/Coroners Office. The investigation is being conducted by the Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team.
