Riverside, Ca- On July 22, 2002, Detectives from the Riverside Police Department completed a series of interviews that culminated in the arrest of two suspects in the recent shooting death of Anthony Sweat, a thirteen-year-old Riverside resident.
The suspects’ names are being withheld due to their age. One suspect is a 16-year-old male Hispanic and the second suspect is a 15-year-old male Hispanic. Both suspects are from Riverside and are members of a local street gang.
