Forgery Investigation

Riverside, Ca-  Riverside Police arrested two suspects for attempting to cash fraudulent checks.  The investigation revealed one suspect was manufacturing fraudulent documents using stolen credit card and identification information.  Detectives from the Economic Crimes Unit were summoned to assist in the investigation. 

 A search of the suspect’s home in Moreno Valley revealed numerous fraudulent documents, evidence of credit card fraud, and fraud through the use of the internet. 

 Amber Moyer, a 23-year old Moreno Valley resident, was arrested and charged for various crimes related to the fraudulent manufacture, possession, and use of stolen documents and credit card information.
