New Year’s Eve Safety

Riverside, Ca-  The Riverside Police Department would like to remind the community to have a safe New Year’s Eve. During this holiday season please be responsible and do not fire a gun in a reckless manner. The following facts are provided for the safety of the entire Community of Riverside:

· It is extremely hazardous to shoot guns in the city and surrounding areas and it is also a Felony!
· The reckless shooter of a gun can be arrested, sentenced to prison and lose possession of their firearms forever!
· Reckless and unnecessary shooting can cause serious injury or even death!
· Reckless and unnecessary shooting can cause damage and interruption to utility services!

The Riverside Police Department is urging the continued support of the entire community. Please join us in persuading the residents of our City not to endanger people by firing guns on New Year’s Eve.

If you see a person shoot a gun, REPORT IT! Call 911 and give the operator as much information as possible about the shooting and the shooter.
