Riverside, Ca- At approximately 10:27pm on
August 27, 2002, officers were called to the area of Indiana and Pierce
regarding an injury collision involving three vehicles.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a red Acura was traveling
eastbound on Indiana. The Acura crossed the double yellow lines and collided
with a white Mazda pick-up in the westbound lane of Indiana.
The Acura also struck a gold Oldsmobile traveling eastbound on Indiana.
A total of eight occupants
sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. All eight occupants were
transported to the hospital for medical attention. The MAIT team was called to
the scene to conduct further investigation.
