Police Officers responded to DMT
Productions, a music-recording studio, located at 1430 Third Street Suite A
regarding a 211 Panic Alarm. Upon arrival they learned a man had entered the
building and had a disagreement with three men inside about retrieving his
personal property. When the men inside the business refused to let the man leave
with property he believed was his, he brandished a knife and threatened to kill
them. Two of the three men ran outside and called the police. The third man was
unable to get out of the building but locked himself inside an interior office.
The officers contacted the man by telephone and convinced him to exit the
building where he was taken into custody without incident. No one was injured
during the incident. The suspect, identified as 29 year-old Latee Wilson, was
booked into jail for 422 P.C. Terrorist Threats and 245 (a)(1) P.C. Assault with
a Deadly Weapon.
