Riverside, Ca- On Saturday, August 3, 2002 at approximately 10:51 P.M., officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing victim who was seen walking in the area of Madison St. and Evans St. Upon arrival officers located a blood trail leading them to a residence in the 3100 block of Madison St. A search of the house was conducted and a male victim was found in a back bedroom. The victim had been stabbed four times to the front and rear of his upper torso. Medical aid personnel responded and transported the victim to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment. Officers located the crime scene at Ahumada’s Market, 7614 Evans St., along with other items of evidence.
The
victim was treated and released with non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 18-25 years old,
wearing a white shirt. He was last seen fleeing on foot, west on Evans St. from the
market.
