Riverside, Ca- On Monday, October 1, 2001, at approximately 7:56 P.M., officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a report of shots fired, possible attempt homicide at Lincoln & Beloit. Upon arrival they located a subject on the sidewalk near the southwest corner of the intersection suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and head. The victim was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Two suspects were seen running from the location were described as possibly being Hispanic males in their early twenties. The victim was identified as Glen David Ayala, Hispanic male, 24-years-old, of Riverside.
