Sacramento, Ca- Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) recognized and thanked individuals from law enforcement, community organizations and the media from throughout California for their exceptional contributions toward the fight against drunk driving.
MADD honored Riverside Police Officers Eric Charrette, Harvey Johnson, Ralph Moorehouse and Robert Sayers for their commitment to the community and concentrated effort in arresting drunk drivers during the month of December 2000, which resulted in over 50 DUI arrests.
MADD recognized Riverside's finest during the MADD California's Annual Statewide Law Enforcement & Community Recognition dinner held on May 5, 2001 in Sacramento.
State Chairperson, Linda Oxenreider, sent this message to the honorees: "We at MADD cannot thank you enough for your efforts to keep our roadways free from the violent crime of drunk driving."
