Riverside, Ca- . On Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at approximately 4:39 A.M., officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a reported home-invasion robbery at a residence in the 2900 block of Cody. Upon arrival they found three adult males were in the residence when two unknown suspects entered the residence and awoke them at gunpoint. They found one of the victims’s had been shot and was deceased in the residence.
Investigators were called to the residence and determined that the suspect’s were at the location for the purposes of robbing the victim’s, and during the robbery shot the victim. The victim’s described the suspect’s as possibly two Black male adults, no further. The victim has been identified as Nathan Deutsch, White male, 25 years old of Riverside.
