Riverside, Ca- On Friday, June 8, 2001, at approximately 10:03 P.M., officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a reported attempt homicide at 10111 Keller. They arrived and found a female adult in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. Medical personnel responded and transported the victim to Riverside Community Hospital.
Investigators were called to the scene and learned the victim and her husband had been involved in a domestic dispute that resulted in the victim being shot. The victim, identified as Glenda Jo Bancroft, White female, 53-years-old, of Riverside, was listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery. The suspect, Ronald W. Bancroft, White male, 52-years-old, of Riverside, was booked into Robert Presley Detention Center for charges of attempt murder and aggravated mayhem.
