Riverside, Ca. - At approximately 5:49pm on June 4, 2001, officers were called to the intersection at Redwood and Mission Inn regarding a major injury collision.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1989 Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on Redwood and entered the intersection against a red light at Mission Inn. The Toyota struck a Chevy S-10 pick-up which was traveling westbound on Mission Inn in the intersection. The driver of the Chevy pick-up was pronounced deceased at the scene by RFD. The driver’s name is being withheld pending notification of relatives. The driver of the Toyota has been identified as Robyn Jordan, 21 years, from Lodi, California.
The Riverside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene for further investigation into the collision.
