Riverside, Ca- At approximately 2:10 p.m. a citizen called to report that two men were climbing through the window of his neighbors apartment located in the 1300 block of Massachusetts. Riverside Police Officers responded and were told that the suspects had drove away in a red sports car toward Blaine Street.
An officer observed the red sports car on Blaine near Hwy 60 and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver accelerated onto Hwy 60 in an attempt to evade the officer. The driver reached speeds of 60-70 miles per hour and exited Hwy 60 at Market Street where one of the suspects tossed a loaded firearm out of the vehicle.
The driver proceeded on Market Street to Rivera where he stopped the vehicle and all three occupants fled on foot to avoid arrest. Riverside Police Officers established a perimeter and captured all three suspects. No one was injured.
Cameron Dejurnett, 19 years old of Corona was arrested with two juveniles, ages 13 and 17. They will be charged with Burglary, Evading a Peace Officer and Weapon offenses.
