Passenger(s)- V-1 Sylvestor Nicholas (54)
Residence: Riverside, Ca.
Injuries: Multiple Abrasions/Lacerations (Riverside Community Hospital)

Narrative: At approximately 6:36 AM a Hyundai driven by Mr. Ramon was N/B Mulberry St. approaching the W/B S-R 91 On Ramp. A Laidlaw/Mayfair school bus driven by Mr. Lerma was S/B Mulberry St. about to enter W/B S-R 91 via the on ramp. According to witnesses at the scene the vehicle driven by Mr. Ramon failed to stop for the posted stop sign. The vehicle driven by Mr. Ramon collided with the school bus.

Members of the Riverside Fire Department were called to the scene to extract Mr. Ramon from his vehicle. After removing portions of the vehicle Mr. Ramon was found to be deceased form his injuries. The passenger in Mr. Ramon’s vehicle is being treated for his injuries at Riverside Community Hospital. There were no students on the bus at the time of the collision.

The collision and follow up investigation is being conducted by the Riverside Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
