The area was contained, and the Riverside Police Department Explosive Ordinance Detail (Bomb Squad) was called out to dispose of the bombs. Further investigation revealed that some of the bombs had what appeared to be racist writing on them. They had swastikas and the words *white Power* written on them.
Detectives wanted to delve deeper into the situation and were attempting to obtain a search warrant for at least one house. Detectives will be looking for additional explosive devices, materials used to manufacture those devices, and any hate related material that may lead to potential targets. Riverside police had at least five officers conducting crowd and traffic control in the area for about six hours.
