Shopping CartThe City of Riverside is concerned about neighborhood blight and public safety issues associated with abandoned shopping carts. As a result, on September 6, 2005, the City Council amended Chapter 9.58 of the Riverside Municipal Code relating to the retrieval, impound and disposal of lost, stolen, or abandoned shopping carts.
