| The
primary goals of the City Engineering Services are to design for
transportation, parking and sewer facilities, and protect private
and public improvements from flood damage. |
| This
program provides administrative and technical support services,
design and construction of the various street, sewer and storm drain
projects undertaken by the City; coordination of the off-site improvements
installed by private developers; and administration of the various
transportation funds, claims, and grants. In addition, the program
provides city-wide survey and right-of-way engineering functions,
identifies developer responsibility for off-site improvements, administers
assessment districts, and provides long-range planning of Public
Works facilities. |
