Here's some clarification on stopping for school buses that display flashing red lights. If the roadway has two or more lanes in each direction, or is divided (as in a median) you don't have to stop if the bus is on the other roadway (headed in the opposite direction).

 

With parking at a premium, especially areas with apartment complexes or other high street parking demands, many drivers are parking within intersections including the corners of the curb. Don't look for red curb, it is illegal to park within an intersection including the corner curb area.

 

New traffic signals have gone in at Sycamore Canyon and Cottonwood and at Washington and Bradley. Look soon for the newest signals to be completed at Iowa and Marlborough, Van Buren and Coyote Bush, Brockton and Nelson, and Canyon Crest and Country Club.

Centerlines (solid double yellow lines): Yes, it is OK to cross a street centerline to turn left or to turn into an alley or driveway.

 

Good news or bad for the pedestrian community? The Segway, also know as the Human Transporter, is allowed on sidewalks in California. This transporter of humans is not a motorized skateboard, which is prohibited from being on sidewalks.
