HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

RIVERSIDE, CA – On Saturday, July 22 2016 at approximately 12:36 am, Riverside Police Officers responded to the 6000 Block of Elenor Street regarding a stabbing outside of a residence. Riverside Police Department patrol officers arrived and located one adult male victim suffering from a stab wound in the front yard of the residence. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Riverside Fire Department personnel. 

Detectives from the Robbery/Homicide Unit along with Evidence Technicians from the Forensic Unit responded to the crime scene to assume the investigation.

Detectives are being assisted by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office and the Riverside County Sheriff – Coroner. The victim’s identity is pending the Coroner’s investigation.
