Day Street/SR 60 Interchange Detachment

This is an approximately 17 acre detachment from the City of Riverside and annexation into the City of Moreno Valley in an effort to clean up the boundaries of both cities in a logical way. The detachment area consists solely of the right-of-way for the Day Street/SR 60 interchange. In addition to the boundary change, the operational responsibility for the traffic signal on Day Street, north of the freeway, will be assumed by the City of Moreno Valley.

Moreno Valley is processing this case as the lead agency. The Riverside City Planning Commission and City Council will hear this case upon approval by the Moreno Valley City Council.
